Cheerios Recipes

1. Chocolate and Vanilla Pudding Parfait with Cheerios

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 cups prepared instant chocolate pudding
  • ½ cups honey nut cheerios
  • 2 cups prepared instant vanilla pudding

Instructions

  • Beat the sugar and heavy cream until it reaches a thick consistency and place it in a piping bag and refrigerate.
  • Place a layer of chocolate pudding and a layer of cheerios in 4 small containers.
  • Add a layer of vanilla pudding on top followed by another layer of cheerios.
  • Garnish with the heavy whipped cream and sprinkle a few cheerios on top.
  • Refrigerate for 3 hours before serving.

2. Gluten-Free Cheerios Caramel Crisp Cereal Bars

Ingredients

  • 6 cups cheerios
  • 14 oz gluten-free caramels
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup gluten-free chocolate coated candies for baking

Chocolate Glaze:

  • ¼ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp shortening

Instructions

  • Butter a large 13x9 inch pan.
  • In a bowl add caramels and water and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring after every minute, until smooth.
  • Mix cereal and marshmallows into bowl and stir until coated.
  • Press mixture into pan and flatten.
  • In a bowl microwave the glaze ingredients until the mixture is smooth and then drizzle over the mixture.
  • Sprinkle candies over the mixture and refrigerate until mixture is set.
  • Cut into 9x4 rows to make individual bars.
