Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications, such as ibuprofen and aspirin, when taken for more than a few days, can cause an increased risk of developing a peptic ulcer. 2. Gastroparesis

Gastroparesis, also known as delayed gastric emptying, is a condition which affects one's vagus nerve.
