What it means is that your kissing skills will always help you have a perfect relationship with your partner. You will also be a more desirable person in the dating world. Luckily, learning skills of being a good kisser is not rocket science. You just need to pay attention to a few important things to make your every kiss more exciting and memorable.

How to Be a Good Kisser

So many things go into making you a good kisser. Here are some tips to help you understand how to become an ideal kisser.

1.    Set the Mood

Learning the way of being a good kisser is not all about techniques to kiss. It is much more about setting the mood and finding the right timing. You just cannot go in public and hope to have an intimate kiss with your partner. Light some candles, play a romantic track, and have some privacy to get that intimate kiss from your partner.

2.    Show Some Confidence

If you want the best kiss of your life, you need to show some confidence. Let your partner feel that you know how things work when it comes to kissing someone. You have to believe that nothing will go wrong when you kiss someone and this confidence will turn you into an irresistible kisser.

3.    Check Your Breath

Another important thing when learning how to be a good kisser is to check your breath. If you have problem with bad breath, forget about getting an intimate kiss with someone. Making simple moves like brushing and flossing and avoiding garlic knots can work wonders. You also need to stay hydrated to avoid dealing with the problem of bad breath. A dry mouth will always stink, so keep a bottle of mouthwash handy to get ready for the action anywhere, anytime.

4.    Trim Your Facial Hair

It is not sexy for women to play with your beard while kissing. It can cause rashes and even irritate her facial skin. Bacteria on your beard can even lead to breakouts. While women usually love kissing a man with no facial hair, you can take care of your beard to make it less annoying for your partner. Shampoo and condition your facial hair daily is a good way.

5.    Moist Your Lips

It is important to take care of your lips and ensure they are fully moisturized when you go kiss your partner. It does not matter if you are going to have your first kiss or the hundredth, your partner will always remember your kiss if your lips are soft and moist. For this, you could use some chap-stick on your lips or try something else for that matter.

6.    Be Patient

Move slowly and take your time when you start kissing. Being patient is one of the most important parts of understanding how to be a good kisser. While your partner may appreciate a little tongue-play, you should not try to force it a little too early. Close your eyes and press your lips against theirs as gently as possible. Let the intimacy build before you move on to the next step.

7.    Take Short Breaks

Do not kiss so patiently as if you are trying to suck life out of your partner. Kiss for a few seconds and then draw your lips away for a few seconds. Make sure your lips are still touching your partner’s but you are not kissing. This lingering goes a long way in building the passion and helping you get a perfect kiss.

8.    Open Your Lips Slowly

Once you have kissed your partner a bit on the lips, it is time to slowly open your lips. Now is the time to use your tongue. Be gentle and first explore their mouth with the tip of your tongue. You do not need to follow any rules here but try not to be overaggressive at this point.

9.    Play It Differently

Learning how to be a good kisser is not all about doing everything in a perfect order. It is also about being creative while you two are close to each other. Doing something that surprises your partner will always add to the fun side of things. It could be anything like licking the center of their open lips with the tip of your tongue or simply stroking the roof of their mouth with your tongue. Another way to make it exciting is to inhale through your mouth instead of nose while kissing. It can be exciting but avoid overdoing it. Taking your lips away from their lips and kissing or sucking on their earlobe for a while may also make it a lot more exciting.

10.  Use Your Hands

While kissing is all about using your lips and tongue correctly, you should never forget to bring your hands into play. While kissing, rub your partner’s back, face, shoulder, and waist with your hands. Be gentle. Explore your partner’s body parts while your tongue explores mouth. Lightly grab your partner’s hair while kissing to add to the intensity of the moment. Just make sure you do not go overboard with all the touching and grabbing. Do not hold your partner very tight and never try to grope if he or sheis not willing to let you go that far.
